For the anon that had the question about Filipino/black hair, I'm also black and Filipino and it really depends what you want to do with your hair. It sounds like we have the same kind of hair. I use natural shampoos and conditioners (Live Clean or Burt's Bee) that have coconut oil or enhances the curls of my hair. You could also try a volumizing shampoo or conditioner. I haven't yet lol Good luck!

I'm Chinese/white and the guys who try to chat me up are almost invariably Black or Latino. It wasn't until I got to college that an Asian guy ever even gave me a second look, and white guys never seem to be able to figure out whether or not they actually find me attractive or just weird. My experiences might be pretty different living in San Francisco, though, which is primarily Asian. I'm told I look API/Latina most of the time (probably the curly hair).

From what I've read and experienced, hair products that enhance shine and straightening are good for most mixed hair. I've also found that olive/coconut oil masks work well for my hair, as does eating a balanced diet. Eliminating sodium lauryl sulfates/detergents can also help. I've also heard really good things about green tea rinses and "No 'poo" methods.

Hm... No, not either. I live in Baltimore City so theres a decent mix of white and black. But the only guys who talk to me have been white. I do get catcalls by Hispanic men a lot though. I don't know if I act white bur I look like a white /asian mix.

I've met a lot of half white, half asian guys and girls like me, and generally I think they're attractive. I've had white, asian, and other mixes interested in me, with no general pattern or trend. I don't think it makes too much of a difference....

Regarding your last question, I've noticed the only guys interested in me are fully white. I'm not sure why though. Also I don't meet a lot of mixed people.

Just asking, but do you know any fine hair products for mixed hair? For example, I'm Black and Filipino. As a result, I have thick, fine hair, but probably because I inherited that from my mom. If so, where is a good place to shop for those products?

Haha! I'm the person who's mom's boyfriend called me negro. Yeah, I did mean to say black. xux;;; but omg thank youuuuuu. He's part Indian himself sooo IDK why he;s acting like that.
